Conference Facilities at West Point House
We are the only conference venue on Walney Island and just a 5-minute drive from BAE! Our quiet & discrete location means that delegates don't get distracted by the town centre shops or have to leave to move their cars, making sessions easy to control and keep to schedule!

How many can you accommodate?
Our conference room can seat 28 theatre style, 18 board room, or 35 standing .There is a larger ‘breakaway’ room if necessary
Do you have parking?
Yes, we have plenty of parking and there are no time restrictions. Parking is included in the room hire charge. The car park is covered by our CCTV and has an EVP.
How accessible is your building?
The conference room is wheel chair accessible. Please ask to see our access statement. Toilets are across the corridor from the conference room
Do you have equipment and WIFI?
Yes; we have fibre WiFi. There is a large screen TV which can be linked to a laptop via HDMI.
What are your opening times?
We would be are happy to host your conference and will endeavour to facilitate your timings.
Do you provide refreshments and food?
The room hire charge is £150 per day and this fee includes endless tea and coffee. We can provide all necessary refreshments ; pastries, lunches, afternoon teas or snacks. Costings are available on request - our lunches start at £7.50 per delegate and no one has ever left hungry!
Conferences can get stuffy, is there any outside space?
The conference room opens onto a courtyard area. There is also a walled garden with seating in the summer months, if delegates want to eat lunch ‘al fresco’
Can delegates smoke in the building?
Our building is non-smoking. We do have a smoking shelter in the walled garden for delegates who want to smoke
Do you have an alcohol licence?
No; we don’t. However; if the event organiser wants to serve alcohol, they are welcome to bring it into the building, (providing licensing laws are upheld)
