​ - up to twenty samples were taken per beach during 2021, with the newly published results showing the fantastic water quality surrounding our beautiful Walney Island,   - importantly for our wild swimmers; all samples were clear of pollutants hazardous to health,   - hailed as fabulous news for both residents & visitors alike, & reinforcing Walney’s position as home to the best beaches in the North West
